In certain circumstances, learners with considerable experience but no formal/regulated qualifications may be considered. This will be subject to an interview with the centre and being able to demonstrate their ability to cope with the demands of the course and assessment.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that acknowledges the skills, knowledge, and experience you’ve already gained through previous training, work, or practical experience — even if it wasn’t through formal education. By assessing your existing competence against the course requirements, RPL can help you avoid repeating content you already know.
This means you may be eligible for reduced study time, less classroom attendance, and in some cases, a discount on course fees, as parts of the qualification can be credited based on your prior achievements.
If you hold CPD and experience in PMU services, you can apply for the RPL status for the assessment phase only and a discounted course cost.
All equipment and models are supplied throughout your course.
Your at-home portfolio of treatments will require the use of a full kit, if you do not have one consider that you will either need to select course to include kit or to purchase one ready for day one of training.
You will need access to a computer and internet to complete this course.
The course structure runs over a 16-week term. This is comprised of a range of in-house sessions of practical training, professional development and assessments. Along with Zoom educational lessons if needed.
This course allows the learner up to 12 months to submit their portfolio and written assignments, but with applied effort most can complete the course within the 16-week term. The qualification time frame is approximately 450 educational hours.
How Soon Can I Start My Course?
An agreed timetable will be provided upon booking and once enrolment complete the course can be accessed online for study to begin.
The course is set with a blended learning approach.
All learners have access to the online training portal in which you will find a range of academic materials, videos and academic work to complete.
The course is complete with the attendance of academic learning and practical development followed by summative assessment sessions of which the internal quality assurance team may observe your assessments to pass the course off as complete.

For courses with a practical element, learners will attend structured training sessions delivered at our Rustington location. Online components, where applicable, can be completed at your own pace.
