Description

The Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling Treatments has been developed as a result of the positive moves towards regulating non-medical aesthetic therapies and improvement of safe industry practice. The qualification covers the underpinning theory to provide learners with the in-depth knowledge and skills required to provide Skin Needling treatments in a safe professional manner.

This course includes:

• Level 4 Facial Anatomy & Physiology
  • Understanding facial anatomy & physiology
  • Understanding associated pathologies
  • Understanding skin disorders, injuries and conditions

• Level 4 Award in Investigative Consultation and Advanced Skin Assessment
  • Understand advanced skin assessments and investigative consultations
  • Understand skin types and conditions
  • Be able to conduct a skin analysis and investigative consultation

• Provide Skin Needling Treatments

This course is comprised of blended learning techniques that will include self led education with workbook exorcises, along with zoom classes and in house training.

Learner Entry Requirements:

Subject to interview and proof of competency CPD treatment experience under the recognition of prior learning of 2 years treatment delivery. 

Level 4 in a related sector eg. Laser, PMU, Advanced Beauty. 

Learners must be at least 18 years of age to attend this course 

Learners who do not meet the prerequisite demands of the course can complete all three level 4 units which include skin needling, consultation practice and facial anatomy this is priced at £849

The course usually runs over a period of three months and requires attendance to the training centre on 2/4 occasions, those with prior skin care knowledge may be able to attend less subject to proof of competency if on the RPL route.

This course is a blended education course with online training self paced education and study, along with attendance of academic zoom sessions, attendance to the centre covers the practical elements of the course.

A portfolio of evidence is required for this course, product information and purchase information will be provided during training.

Equipment

A Microneedling device may be required to complete a portfolio of evidence, a starter kit can be purchased for £99

Timetable

The academic timetable will be based upon your prior knowledge and experience.

The expected timetable will be 2 – 3 days in centre to include knowledge based learning, practical training and assessments, along with self paced home study, completion of written units and continued independent study.

This course is expected to take the average learner 12 weeks to complete, with a qualification time frame of approximately 170 educational hours.
