Course Overview

Our beginners acrylic course has taken a new approach for 2022 to give new exciting course structure and give maximum learning potential to our students. This course is the foundation of nail extensions using L&P acrylic and tip application.

The course is taught over two sessions, with home study to be completed between classes. All training materials are provided, including small starter kit.

This course covers techniques with clear acrylic for gel polish finish and French finish.

Prerequisites  

• There are no prerequisite’s to attend this course, previous manicure training is desired but not essential. 
• This course requires pre study and quiz completion of hand and nail anatomy, along with health and safety and treatment contraindications.

• History of nail enhancement’s, benefits of using acrylic.
• Client consultation.
• Relevant anatomy.
• Contraindications to the service.
• Tools and equipment required to complete a treatment.
• Creating nail shapes and structure.
• Acrylic application, file and finish techniques.
• Maintenance, infill & rebalance.
• Removal
• Treatment aftercare
• Practical assignments
