future, and to continue to bring recognition and professionalism to the health and aesthetics sector.
The Focus Awards Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice (RQF) is aimed at learners who want to
broaden their aesthetic knowledge and develop their practice within the health and beauty sector
This is one of several options to gain a level 5 qualification to progress onto the level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice.
The course is made up of 9 mandatory units include:
- Management of Health and Safety, and Infection Control Protocols for Aesthetic Procedures
- Legal and Statutory Regulations in Aesthetic Practice
- Advanced Consultation, Skin Analysis and Assessment for Aesthetic Treatments
- Skin Science for Non-Surgical Skin Procedures
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Chemical Skin Peeling Treatments
- Skin Needling Treatments
- Advanced Mesotherapy for Skin Rejuvenation
- Provide Hydrodermabrasion and Radiofrequency Treatments
Pre-Requisites to complete this course are as follows, the learner must demonstrate one or all of the below:
- Level 4 in related field
- 2 Years industry experience
- Basic life support and anaphylaxis. (This is included to all enrolling students in the level 5 full course)

Course can be paid in full at the time of enrolment, or a £500 deposit followed by 12x payments of £250 monthly.
All equipment and models are supplied throughout your course. You will need access to a computer and internet to complete this course.
We offer a flexible learning approach to this qualification, allowing the learner to create a learning plan that works around their current work, life and family commitments.
The average learner can complete this course within 6 months with adequate academic input.
The average learner attends the training centre between 6-12 sessions throughout a 10 month enrolment timeframe.
The course outcomes are measured against the creation of a treatment portfolio, in house assessments and a range of saq’s (short answer question) style workbooks.
The course is set with a blended learning approach.
All learners have access to the online training portal in which you will find a range of academic materials, videos and assessment work to complete.
Zoom classes are available Monday to Friday with an Assessor to discuss any aspect of the course, or academic support.
Live zoom classes related to specific units run monthly these are recorded and can be watched by learners at any point throughout the course.
The course offers a range of CPD education, confidence building, portfolio creation, education academic study and assessment days throughout the duration of your course these are all included with unlimited attendance allowance through out.
The course is complete with the attendance of a summative assessment day of which the external quality assurance team may observe your assessment to pass the course off as complete.
We enrol on this course on a daily basis as we have a flexible learning style.
Once deposit is recieved a learner will have a range of paperwork to complete and an induction meeting will be set with 48 hours either face to face or Zoom to complete your individual learning plan.
During the induction your Assessor will give you access to your training portal go through the training programme set initial learning targets and book your first dates to attend the centre.
